The US President Barack Obama, who was the honorary speaker of the 63rd National Prayers Breakfast, which was held in Washington, refered to the abuse of religion, as he says, is being used a weapon of evil.

From the schools in Pacistan to the streest in Paris, we have seen violence and terror from the people who are doing this on the behalf of their religion. Profess to stand up for Islam but in fact are betraying it. We have witnnesed a brutal, vicious death cult that in the name of religion carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism. The people of faith can not accept this.”

Due to this purpose, special guest of the National Prayers Breakfast was Dalai Lama.

“I want to offer a special welcome to a good friend, his holiness, the Dalai Lama, who is a powerful example of what it means to practice compassion and inspires us to speak up for the freedom and dignity of all human beings”.
